Return or rebirth for the band Mule Jenny! After composing and recording a remarkable debut album on its own (All These Songs Of Love And Death, 2021) under this enigmatic name, Etienne Gaillochet (drummer and singer with We Insist!) was soon joined by accomplices Max Roy and Théo Guéneau from Lysistrata. Together, they first developed a repertoire designed for live performance, then soon began working on new songs together, in a radically different form. 

The trio's new album, due for release in September, will have the virtues of live performance, spontaneity and dynamics. The music is still complex, full of math-rock twists and hairpin turns, but the vocal lines guide it in a more melodic, heady direction. "Outsiders", the unstoppable first single with its galloping bass, is available now (streaming link).
