Two years after his last album It ends like crazy, the cult Hawaiian songwriter Troy Von Balthazar announces Courage, mon amour !, a new album to be released on August 20th on Vicious Circle Records! A first extract has already escaped, "What I Like (About Me)", available as a clip below and on digital platforms.
 

After "Boys", "Holy Something", "Impale", "Filthy Days", "Lullaby For Psycho", "Rain Saves Lives" has got its video! All those songs are from Troy Von Balthazar's last album, It Ends Like Crazy, still available on CD, vinyle ou digital.

Troy Von Balthazar is releasing Caution ! Poison snake ! No entry !, an intense new book of short stories, poems, flash fictions, and warped lyrics. It also features the drawings of James Kroll (Bass from Chokebore) with photos and preface by Mathias Malzieu (Dionysos). It’s both in French and English and will be in shops on April 1st via Eidola Editions!

Troy Von Balthazar’s 4th studio album was recorded in Berlin and the South of France. He used a combination of an old Tascam 388, tape machine and Protools, a bunch of amazing guitar pedals, and vintage microphones. It’s lo-fi songwriting and recording at it’s best, stream of consciousness music structures and powerful lyrics. The songs create a very distinct atmosphere that is really “The TvB sound”.
